In Charles Darwin's closing paragraph of On The Origin of Species, he speaks of an entangled bank as an example of and allegory for the awe inspiring and magnificent complexity of nature. Giordano Bruno (1548-1600) is considered the first Pantheist, the first to proclaim divinity within nature. Nature makes sense to me to worship, and because I pray by making art, it is where I perform devotional acts toward nature. For Giordano Bruno (1548-1600) is the result of one such act.
